In late 2011 myself and two other photographers were commissioned to create a series of portraits for the organisation Wintringham. Wintringham provides housing for people ages 55 and over who are at risk of homelessness. The result was a three week long exhibition of photographic prints at the Roslyn Smorgon Gallery within the Footscray Community Arts centre. The show was reviewed by The Age newspaper who called it "These are sensitive, revealing and engaged portraits, with none of the characteristic snap-from-a-distance objectification of the ubiquitous street photographs of misfortune."
